Phone: 662.213.4590  Email: Pat@BestofTupelo.com
I am a Life Member of the Professional Golfer's Association of America.
I attended the University of Washington on an Evans Caddie Scholarship, and in 5 1/2
years at Pebble Beach, watched and filmed most of the great players of this age.
I have also attended the PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit, and seminars and presentations
by JIm Mclean, Butch & Dick Harmon, Fred Shoemaker, Chuck Cook, Jim Flick, Randy
Smith, Bob Toski, Phil Rogers, Hank Haney, Michael Hebron, and many others.
I have read and studied extensively various bio-mechanics, neuro-science, motor
skills, and other subjects relating to psycho-motor skills [Why is hitting a golf ball
such a complex motor skill? [ I can tell you!], logic, computers, and the WWW.
My golfing career began at 11 years of age as a caddie at Glendale CC in Seattle,
Washington, and I have been a member of the PGA in the U. S. and Canada since
1963. I have done almost everything there is to do in the world of golf, including
playing the Canadian Tour.  I have participated in the development of several golf
courses, from funding through design and construction, to management and
maintenance.

I have been involved in design, publishing and promoting sites on the Internet [WWW] for many
years. I worked at Levi Strauss & Co. for several years in the 1970's as a computer programmer
and systems analyst, and worked for a computer service bureau [EDP Industries] in Canada as a
systems analyst.  At Levi's, I was one of five people hired for their programmer-trainee program
out of several hundred  applicants they tested and interviewed. The major criteria for a computer
programmer is logic.  This was my introduction to computers and programming, and for the
first year we studied computers and programming at IBM, only going to Levi's on Friday to
discuss our progress.  This was in the early days of computers for business use, and Levi's
had literally floors of climate-controlled computer rooms.
As early as 1997, my web-sites were #1, or on the 1st page on many search engines [Yahoo,
Excite, Alta Vista, etc.] from among hundreds of thousands of results.  I maintained this position
for several years.  As a result of this success in web development and my golf background, I
was hired by some of the  first Netscape developers to spearhead the development of the
video teaching system for Swing Solutions.  I became the director of golf, with supervision,
hiring, and site development responsibilities.
I have continued involvement in web-site development and marketing with various domains,
web-sites and pages.  Examples, some of which I no longer own or participate in:
GOLFPB.COM, WOODYSTUPELO.COM, GLOSTERSQUARE.COM,
BESTOFTUPELO.COM, SWINGSOLUTIONS.COM, THEVANCOUVERSITE.COM
INVESTINPAULOWNIA.COM, IT-MVP.COM, And many others.
